I believe great design is where perception meets value. This belief has guided me in my own journey as a designer, as well as in coaching other designers and building successful design teams.
Background
My journey in design started nearly 20 years ago when I started at Graphic Lyceum Amsterdam where got my vocational training in design. Here I created many things that would today be considered design abominations
Afterwards, I studied at the University of Applied Sciences in Amsterdam where got my Bachelors degree in Interactive Design. I later followed some classes at the University of Amsterdam, but was more drawn to the practical side.
In my spare time, I like to read, watch and do things around sociology, architecture, interior design, cooking and some other nerdy stuff. If I was richer, I’d probably collect cars.
One day, I hope to find the time to write down, bundle and publish some of my thoughts, ideas and learnings about CX, advertising and the digital world.
